This luxury boutique hotel is not what you would expect from your standard vacation lodging! Located in Kenya, just about 12 miles outside of Nairobi, Giraffe Manor is 12 acres of private land and 140 acres of indigenous forest that is home to a herd of Rothschild Giraffe.
Built in 1932, the manor décor is a combination of traditional and modern, with a two-story entrance hall, majestic staircase, and immaculately furnished interiors. Guests are offered the opportunity to interact with the giraffes at all times of day. According to the website, “Giraffe Manor offers you an unparalleled experience of the giraffes, with them vying for your attention at the breakfast table, the front door and even your bedroom window.”

See this toy? That’s a little toy of the Pokemon “Geodude” I got out of a cereal box when I was a little kid. I loved that toy. I carried it around with me everywhere I went. One day, I was walking in the garden with my dad and it fell out of my pocket. I looked everywhere for it and I couldn’t find it. I cried and cried and cried and cried. I was a little kid and I seriously felt that I just lost one of my closest friends
I was in the garden today and I happened to look down at the ground and I saw it half buried looking up at me. I honestly can’t believe that I found this. I lost this toy sometime around 10-15 years ago and there it was, just sitting there in plain sight. Honestly, it’s probably been buried a little bit underground for years and it just resurfaced when the garden was plowed earlier this spring
I’m a grown ass man now and I feel like I’ve just been reunited with an old friend. You can make fun of me all you want, but that’s how I feel. I also feel like that I have just reconnected with a piece of my childhood, a time back when things were much, much simpler
